Every year on 5 May, it is celebrated that our 5 gods brought man to earth and that Mageía is the origin of humanity. "People deserve to be honoured on their own celebration day, but it is also a thank you to our gods," explained the High Priest at the presentation of the celebrations.

The celebrations traditionally begin with the national anthem at the national park in the presence of the High Priest and his family. After that, fringe festivities begin in the park. The main aim is to bring together people from all over Mageía and create a folkloric feeling. There will be all kinds of stands with typical products but also stands with games about the history of mankind. Several great but also local artists will perform. The aim is to make it a big folk festival.

Around 15:00, the procession will start telling the story of how the first people arrived in Mageía. The most magnificent floats appear on the streets of the capital. More than 2,000 volunteers will act, dance or drive a float in the procession.

The festive day will end with an amazing fireworks display. The spectacle will represent the gods on by one. The fireworks are an essential part because these allow the people to send the closest possible message to the gods. Therefore, again this year, much attention will be paid to it so that everything goes well.

In every region of the country, a big screen will be set up one which the whole festive day will be broadcast. This way, people who cannot come to the capital can still experience the day with other residents of the region and the group atmosphere can also be present there.

Aíegam expects an attendance 3 210 684 of people by the start of the day. Thousands of litres of Roz Agapi have already been made and 6 million pieces of jewellery with the national symbol are expected to be sold.
