Gods punish residents of Mageía after shortage of living virgins
A few weeks ago, a big fire took place in Mageía National Park. The God of Fire created this fire to warn Mageía residents of the consequences if not enough virgins were sacrificed. At that time, the inhabitants of Mageía were protected by the other Gods. The other Gods were aware of the new measures and accepted that temporarily fewer virgins could be sacrificed. But now the patience of the other Gods also began to run out and more and more small accidents are happening.

The God of water is currently causing local floods in the city of Óren. Some pomegranate fields became unusable as a result. A disaster for the pomegranate farmers. We spoke to Dionysia, a 29-year-old pomegranate farmer and virgin hunter. "It is a disaster. The God of water has flooded our fields. Our pomegranate harvest is ruined and the fields won't be usable for a while. We understand the Gods' frustration, but we are doing all we can to make as many sacrifices as possible. Because we are only allowed to hunt on Mondays and Thursdays, it is just harder to catch as many virgins. On top of that, the virgins can now protect themselves by using their bracelets. The new measures are a disaster for us."

The God of air also sends out warnings. In recent days, there were violent thunderstorms over the city of Somená. As a result, some trees fell down and roads were temporarily blocked. But even the God of fire is not stopping at the one fire in the park a few weeks ago. He causes small fires in Áitof every day. No one has been injured yet, but the residents of Áitof are clearly worried. They expect the fires to become bigger and more extreme if more sacrifices are not made soon.
The High Priest responded to the incidents and is calling on all women who are not yet hunting to start hunting virgins. "With more hunters hunting on Mondays and Thursdays, the chances of catching virgins are bigger," he said. "Help and protect each other while hunting. This is the only way we will be able to satisfy the Gods and avoid disasters." The High Priest also shared that there will be additional free hunting courses to train more women to become virgin hunters.
