First prisoner exchange with Noma was a great success for Mageía.
A few weeks ago, an agreement was signed between our country and Noma. In the agreement, it stated that Noma will be allowed to open graves of virgins in exchange for our hunters. By doing this, Noma hopes to find virgins who are still alive so that they can not be sacrificed to our Gods. During the excavations, Noma's excavators do not know how long the virgins have been buried and therefore do not know in advance whether the virgins are still alive or not.
On Friday 2 December, the first swap was organised in the forest on the border between Noma and Mageía. During this exchange, 7 captured hunters were exchanged for the opening of 7 graves. During this, Noma opened only graves of virgins who had already died and so Mageía does not lose sacrifices to the gods. A great success for our country!
After the excavations, a ceremony was held to celebrate the return of the 7 female hunters of Mageía. The hunters, 7 women aged between 20 and 25, were arrested while hunting virgins on Wednesday. Since the new rules were introduced, hunting is only allowed on Mondays and Thursdays. Although the hunters violated the official law, they were still received as heroes in Mageía.
During the ceremony, the High Priest gave a speech on the hunters' courage and congratulated them on their willingness to sacrifice their freedom for the sake of the Gods. "I am proud that our country does not allow itself to be contained by infidels, our Gods will reward us for the heroic behaviour of these seven young women," he said.
After the High Priest's speech, the hunters also gave a speech. They addressed the people and thanked them for their support during their captivity. The hunters explained that Noma prison is a terrible place where belief in Gods is not allowed. "The mental struggle during our captivity was harder than the physical," they said. We were given enough food and were not physically tortured, but it was mental torture not to be able to pray to our Gods or make sacrifices. Still, we are not going to give up hunting. We are going to rest for a few weeks, but cannot wait to get back to hunting female virgins."
